Environment
While in office I would work to accomplish the following goals regarding the environment.
-Stop the destruction of wetlands and forests for commercial interests.
-Limit the EPA. Uphold the rule of law by focusing on respecting property rights.
-I will strive to end the subsidization of growing corn for ethanol. The unintended blowback is that ethanol production is driving up food prices and destroying forests and wetlands.
-I would seek a moratorium on lawsuits filed under the Endangered Species Act by private entities. The current system acts as a cash cow for vicious lawyers, and has created a major backlog of lawsuits. The legal burden is so great that the Department of the Interior is unable to focus on species who are truly endangered.
